A one day class designed for beginners, more experienced gardeners and aspiring flower arrangers.

We grow a wide selection of flowers and foliage at The Bath Greenhouse and use our established cutting gardens to show you how you can design and develop a cut flower patch or small cut flower garden of your own to produce beautiful, seasonal, home-grown blooms.

During the workshop you will learn about the location and soil requirements of a good cut flower patch, some of the best varieties of flowers and foliage to include in order to provide a succession of seasonal blooms. How to grow these plants from seed or cuttings, which seeds to direct sow, and what to cultivate under cover. We will also show you how to cut and condition your home-grown flowers to prolong their vase life, and how to arrange them to produce a lovely, relaxed, garden style arrangement.

Whether you have a small growing space or a large garden, there will be something at The Bath Greenhouse that will be sure to inspire you. Refreshments and lunch are included, and everyone will leave with their own floral arrangement to enjoy at home or gift to a friend, and some useful seeds to help get their cut flower patch started.
